Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is the condition of the sheet music from which the reproductions are made?
A. Generally very good. In some cases the original owners name and/or date is written on the cover and very often only adds to the antiquity of the piece.

Q. What is the copyright status of the sheet music available at Musicalwallflowers.com.?
A. Sheet music with a copyright date of 1922 and before normally is in the public domain (out of copyright protection). Music that is copyrighted after 1922 may or may not be in the public domain. We make every effort with post-1922 music to ascertain its status. Any failure to determine that correctly is entirely inadvertent.

Q. Will Musicalwallflowers offer assistance in matching the frame color to a piece of music?
A. Yes, if requested we will suggest the best match for a frame. However, such pieces will still fall under the Musicalwallflowers return policy.

Q. What is that return policy?
A. Because every order involves custom reproducing and framing, there is a 20% return fee or exchange fee. Contact support@musicalwallflowers.com for return directions. Framed music must be returned packaged in the same way as received. Insurance is advised as the condition of returned music is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Q. How long will it take to for an order to be shipped?
A. Each order is custom prepared so the typical lead time until the music is shipped is 7 to 10 days.

Q. Does all the sheet music have interesting reverse sides?
A. No, in fact some reverse sides are blank. However, copies of the actual music are attached to the reverse side in a plastic sleeve - some with words and some without. Please also note that the nickel frames do not afford complete visibility of the reverse side.

Q. Can the sheet music copies be purchased unframed?
A. Yes, the price of such music will be equal to the framed price minus $35.00.

Q. What methods of payment are accepted?
A. Paypal and personal check or money order. You may use most credit cards if you choose Paypal. Directions for using Paypal are furnished.

Q. Will you be adding additional pieces of music or is the selection completed?
A. We will be adding additional pieces of sheet music constantly. Please check back to see if new subjects are of interest. Also you may contact support@musicalwallflowers.com to inquire as to whether we have a piece of music that fits with a subject of your choosing or one that is suitable as a gift for a specific person. Be as specific as possible with a description of that person, e.g., name of person incl. nicknames, favorite geographical spot(s), favorite college and interests. We will offer suggestions from both our posted and our non-posted pieces.

Q. Will Musicalwallflowers offer assistance in matching the frame color to a piece of music?
A. Often we will note what we feel is the best color frame for the piece of music. It will be noted in the description of the piece in the following manner - "Frame Recommendation - Walnut". Otherwise, if not indicated, we will suggest the best match for a frame upon request. However, such pieces will still fall under the Musicalwallflowers return policy.
